JinkoSolar is supplying photovoltaic modules to Hecate Energy for two solar projects totalling 30MW in Virginia.
The projects are the 10MW Clarke County plant in Double Tollgate and the 20MW Cherrydale facility on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
Clarke County became operational in June, while Cherrydale is under construction. A further 10MW will be added to Clarke County in 2019.
JinkoSolar (US) general manager Nigel Cockroft said: “JinkoSolar is pleased to be working with Hecate Energy on the two notable projects.
“We are especially pleased to be a contributor to the recent growth of solar in the state of Virginia.”
