JinkoSolar (US) is to supply 560MW of solar modules to New York renewable energy company Consolidated Edison Development.
The shipments of polycrystalline 72-cell units has already started and will continue through to August next year, JinkSolar said.
The modules will be used on a number of Con Edison solar projects across the US, it added.
Con Edison Development president and chief executive Mark Noyes said: “JinkoSolar has a clear understanding of the energy marketplace in which we operate.
“It is important that our company continuously improves solar system efficiency in order to remain competitive with other energy sources.”
