JinkoSolar has supplied kit totalling 122MW to Pattern Energy Group for the Conejo solar farm in the Antofagasta region of northern Chile.
The project, to be located in the municipality of Taltal, has a 22-year power purchase agreement with Minera Los Pelambres, an affiliate of Antofagasta Minerals.
It will be connected to the Sistema Interconectado Central transmission system, JinkoSolar said.
Conejo is expected to be completed in the second half of 2016 and will cover about 65% of Los Pelambres’ electricity demand.
