Madrid-headquartered investor Kobus Partners has acquired 250MW of Spanish solar PV projects from Esparity Solar.
Kobus announced it has bought three projects from the developer via its third capital fund, Kobus Renewable Energy 3.
The largest of the projects, 150MW Cordovilla, will be located in Navarra while the other two, 50MW Salinetas and 50MW Salinetas 2, will be based in the province of Alicante.
Kobus was advised by Deloitte Legal, G-advisory and Blue Tree Asset Management on the deal.
The investor is aiming to build up a 500MW portfolio via Kobus Renewable Energy 3, which formally launched earlier this month.
The vehicle, which closed a first round of fundraising in November 2020, is targeting final-phase development, under-construction and operational PV plants and wind farms in Spain, Italy and Portugal.
