Law firm Dentons Europe advised Quercus on a deal with the Ministry of Energy in Iran to build and operate a 600MW solar farm in the Middle Eastern country.
Construction is set to start next year, with the project to be built in 100MW phases over three years.
Dentons Europe advised Quercus on all aspects of the agreement and represented the client in negotiations with the ministry.
The legal team was led by partner Ramin Hariri, with support from partner Vincent Lacombe, who advised on restructuring and tax issues.
Partner Navid Sato, counsel Maryam Ebrahimi and associates Nima Nasrollahi, Sara Habibi and Arash Shahrokhy from APP Legal Institute, a law firm associated with Dentons in Iran, also worked on the deal.
