UK developer Lightsource has commissioned a 32MW solar power complex in Northern Ireland.
The Antrim scheme comprises five projects in County Antrim that are linked by a single connection to the electricity grid.
The solar power facility is the largest in Northern Ireland, according to the developer.
Lightsource has also commissioned another solar park in the county – a 6MW photovoltaic plant at Millar Farm.
The company, which operates 1.3GW of solar capacity, said it expects to complete more projects in the country soon.
“We are delighted to complete this landmark project in Antrim,” chief executive Nick Boyle (pictured) said.
“This is the most significant solar development on the island of Ireland to date.”
