Conergy has sold five solar projects in the UK totaling 34.4MW to German investment outfit Luxcara.
The solar farms are worth approximately £40m and were constructed by Conergy’s UK team.
Conergy will continue to operate and maintain the projects for Luxcara.
All sites were completed on time and grid-connected between 13 December and 20 December last year.
In the first quarter of 2016, Conergy UK will build and connect a further four sites under the Renewables Obligation Certificate accreditation tariff.
The company will also build another two projects under the UK government’s feed-in-tariff scheme in the second quarter of this year.
Conergy chief development officer Alexander Gorski said: “During the last two years Conergy successfully executed 35 solar projects with a total capacity of around 287.6MW in the UK.”
Luxcara managing partner Alexandra von Bernstorff said: “We are very happy having acquired an attractive project portfolio from Conergy in the UK.”
