Metlen has secured two engineering, procurement and construction contracts for two solar and battery storage projects in the UK.
The two contracts will see the Greek company design and construct a 115MW solar photovoltaic and battery storage park for CERO Generation in Bramley, Hampshire, and an 18MW battery storage for AMPYR Solar Europe in Scruton, North Yorkshire.
The two contracts are valued at £34.8m combined.
Metlen said in a release: “These projects underscore METLEN’s role as a reliable partner in the UK’s energy transition, bringing its technical expertise to a growing portfolio of solar and battery storage developments across the region.”
The company currently has 93 renewable energy projects completed of in development in the UK and Ireland, including 63 solar projects and 28 battery storage projects.
