Nomad Electric has signed an EPC contract in Portugal for the construction of a 24MWp power plant.
The company will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including the necessary procedures, agreements and arrangements with the relevant authorities and electricity system operator to enable the plant to be connected to the distribution network.
Nomad Electric will also deliver and implement the system SCADA Nomad NX.
The contract comes as Nomad completes the construction and commissioning of its first photovoltaic power plant in Portugal with a capacity of 8.4MWp.
This site is a part of a larger contract that includes 45MWp in total.
The company also provided its proprietary system SCADA Nomad NX, which features advanced analytics, to ensure a high level of energy production, real-time remote monitoring and efficient plant management.
In the coming months, Nomad Electric will complete construction at other sites in Portugal, as part of a contract for a total of 45MWp.
The company’s director of business development Izabela Mielniczuk said: “We specialise in the construction of photovoltaic farms in a ‘turnkey’ formula.
