Juwi, PSEG Solar Source and Platte River Power Authority have held a dedication ceremony for the 36.3MW PSEG Rawhide Flats solar center 25 miles north of Fort Collins in Colorado.
The companies said the facility has been in start-up mode for the past week and should shortly begin commercial operations.
The project was built on a 190-acre site leased from the power authority at the Rawhide energy station and comprises approximately 117,000 polycrystalline panels.
It has a 25-year power purchase agreement with Platte River, a wholesale generation and transmission provider.
Juwi developed the project and was its engineering, procurement and construction contractor.
