Morgavel’s full commissioning is slated for 2023.
RWE is using 91,000 bifacial modules for the solar plant to maximise generation.
Module installation is scheduled to begin in late summer on an area of about 100 hectares.
The construction work for the solar system will be carried out by Omexom Portugal, while Construção e Manutenção Eletromecânica (CME) is responsible for the work on the substation and for the grid connection.
