Solarvest Holdings has successfully secured a total of 11 rooftop solar photovoltaic installation projects in Vietnam.
The portfolio represents a combined capacity of 12.8MWp.
The transaction was made via the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Solarvest (Vietnam) Co.
Solarvest will play a pivotal role as a clean energy developer for these secured schemes, actively engaging in project development, financing procurement, and the provision of comprehensive operations and maintenance services.
The group is collaborating with a local partner that will deliver engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services for these sites.
Solarvest Executive Director and Group chief executive Davis Chong Chun Shiong said: “We are delighted with the progress of our overseas expansion efforts, which is well-aligned with our five-year strategic roadmap.
“Including Vietnam, our overseas project tender book now stands at 620MWp, indicating a strong job pipeline for the Group. This strategic expansion positions Solarvest favourably to tap into new streams of overseas income.”
