SPower and Rosendin Electric have agreed an engineering, procurement and construction contract to build nearly 700MW in utility-scale solar PV projects in 2016.
The work will provide more than 900 jobs, with construction scheduled to start this month.
The projects are expected to be completed and grid connected between April and December.
SPower chief executive officer Ryan Creamer said: “Aligning ourselves with Rosendin marks one of the key strategic relationships that sPower has prioritized as we look to double our operating portfolio in 2016.
“We are confident that Rosendin’s depth of experience with solar facility construction will be instrumental in executing our aggressive development plans.”
