Sungrow has connected a 50MW solar farm to the Chinese grid.
The plant has been developed by Sungrow in Datong in Shangxi Province and is currently the largest 1500-volt solar facility in China.
It uses Sungrow’s SG3000HV-MV medium volt inverter container, which is designed to have unit power reaching up to 3MW.
The company said the 20-foot container can bring several benefits including the “ability to lower system costs and ease of operations maintenance over the long term life of the product”.
