VH Global Energy Infrastructure has powered up two new solar sites in Brazil, bringing its total to 12.
The company says the sites will contribute to economic growth and grid improvements, while supporting meaningful progress in the country’s decarbonisation efforts.
VH Global Energy Infrastructure’s 12 operational solar distributed generation projects in Brazil have a capacity of 34.3MWdc.
This is set to grow further in 2025, the company said.
A third solar site due to be energised later in Q1, adding an extra 6.25MWdc of new capacity, and three additional projects are also expected to become operational during the year.
The two newly energised assets are already generating revenue with offtake agreements between 10 and 20 years.
The larger of the two assets, at 5.7MWdc, has a 20-year inflation-linked contract with Telefonica.
