Green Power EMC and Silicon Ranch are planning to bring 200MW of solar power online by 2020 in the US state of Georgia.
Silicon Ranch will build, own, operate and maintain four new plants, with Green Power EMC, which supplies electricity to 38 member corporations in Georgia, buying the power and renewable energy credits from the projects.
The two companies have already commissioned a 20MW photovoltaic facility in Jeff Davis county and recently dedicated a 52MW plant near Hazlehurst.
Green Power EMC President Jeff Pratt said: “We are proud to partner again with Silicon Ranch to provide solar energy to them at such an affordable cost.”
