Wilson Construction and engineering outfit TRC have completed the 250MW Primm PV project in Nevada.
The solar project is located close to the California state border, and will connect to the Southern California transmission system. It includes a 230kV substation and transmission line.
Wilson Construction designed and constructed the facility, while TRC acted as a subcontractor to connect it to the grid, the companies said in a joint release.
“Renewable energy is an increasingly important part of the electric supply system in California,” TRC senior vice president David Zarider said.
“This work represents a significant expansion of our energy engineering design expertise for renewable projects in the Western US.”
