Welspun Renewables has completed a 4MW AC solar project in the Punjab region of India.
It is the second project the company has completed this financial year, with the 32MW Bathinda solar farm having been commissioned in Punjab in 2015.
The company said it expects to have commissioned 1GW of new solar and wind projects by the end of the financial year.
Welspun Renewables vice chairman Vineet Mittal said: “Like all our projects before, this latest capacity addition too was commissioned well before the committed timelines.”
