West Coast Energy has rebranded under the banner of parent company Engie, formerly GDF Suez.
The change is part of a UK-wide shift that includes all the Engie companies in the country. WCE will be part of the renewables unit.
The French outfit is globally targetting “a new kind of energy and services” business geared towards low carbon and greater efficiencies.
“We our combining our skills and expertise under one brand,” said West Coast. “It brings together our energy know-how and leading services capability that will add greater value to your business.”
Rebranding will be phased in over the coming months. West Coast was acquired by what was then GDF in March 2014 for an undisclosed sum.
