BayWa re has completed the sale of wind assets in Poland and Italy with a combined capacity of around 80MW.
The company said it sold the 30MW Kamionka wind farm in Poland to ENGIE Zielona Energia, part of the ENGIE Group.
It added the project has been operational since March 2012 and consists of 12 turbines with annual output equivalent to 27,115 households.
BayWa r.e. also signed an agreement to sell Sirio Rinnovabili, which holds the rights to the 48.8MW Vallelunga wind project in Italy, to Alerion.
The company noted the Italian project was authorised in January 2025 and is expected to produce around 120GWh annually, equivalent to about 45,000 households.
“This two-country deal further strengthens BayWa r.e.’s position as a trusted provider of reliable renewable energy assets across Europe,” said Dr. Daniel Gaefke, chief operating officer of BayWa r.e.
“Both transactions are part of a broader series of deals we are progressing this year, reflecting the strength and depth of our pipeline.”
