Polish steel fabricator ZKS Ferrum has secured a contract from Dajin Offshore to supply steel structures for the Nordseecluster B offshore wind project.
The wind farm is the second phase of the 1.6GW Nordseecluster developed by RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management.
ZKS Ferrum will manufacture 20 sets of secondary steel structures to support offshore installations, the company said.
Production is underway at facilities in Katowice and Gdynia to support logistics and offshore transport, it added.
The contract is expected to support around 100 jobs across the company’s operations in Poland.
Nordseecluster B is scheduled to enter commercial operation in early 2029.
“This collaboration allows us to combine advanced engineering solutions with proven large-scale fabrication capabilities,” said Adam Kowalski, head of supply chain management at Dajin Offshore.
“Working with ZKS Ferrum enhances our flexibility and strengthens our ability to deliver on increasingly demanding offshore wind projects.”
