DeepOcean has won a contract for inter-array cable installation at the 295MW TPC-II offshore wind farm in Taiwan.
The company will install cables linking turbines to offshore substations and provide engineering and project management services, DeepOcean said.
It will work with Dong Fang Offshore using the vessel Orient Adventurer for the offshore scope, the company added.
The vessel has been upgraded with two new ROVs, an under-deck carousel and a cable lay spread for subsea power cable transport and installation.
The work will start immediately and be completed during 2026.
“We look forward to working together with Dong Fang Offshore on this significant project,” said Mitchell Pike, executive vice president of DeepOcean’s offshore renewables business.
“The project win demonstrates the quality and commitment we bring to the global offshore wind industry, working across Europe, Americas and now Asia-Pacific.”
“This important project is a key step in the growth of our renewables business in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Joel Ireland, offshore renewables director APAC.
“It leverages the strong track record that DeepOcean has with offshore cable installation projects, and it demonstrates our ability to execute key renewables projects in an important growth market.”
