North Star has strengthened its executive team with three senior appointments as it targets international growth in offshore wind operations.
The company has appointed Duncan Palmer as its first chief human resources officer and promoted Joanna Lang to chief legal and compliance officer, it said.
Kenneth Coughlan has also been named chief technology officer, succeeding James Bradford following his retirement, the company added.
North Star said the changes reinforce its position as a service operations vessel owner-operator in Europe while supporting expansion of its client base and talent pipeline.
The company employs around 1500 seafarers and onshore personnel and operates a renewables fleet of 10 SOVs in operation or in build alongside 37 emergency response and rescue vessels.
Gitte Gard Talmo, chief executive officer at North Star, said: “These appointments bring exceptional expertise and proven leadership to the business, strengthening innovation, decarbonisation and governance across our fleet, and reinforcing our position as a trusted SOV partner across Europe.”
