ENOVA has acquired project rights for three turbines at the Thüle wind farm in Germany and secured financing.
The company said the three Nordex N175 turbines have a combined capacity of 21MW and form part of a six-turbine project.
ENOVA added it will be responsible for further implementation of the project, which is scheduled to enter operation in autumn 2027.
The Thüle wind farm is being developed by Jade Concept and local landowners, who will operate the remaining three turbines.
The ENOVA-owned turbines are expected to generate more than 65,000MWh of electricity annually.
“The fact that we were able to complete the acquisition and financing almost simultaneously shows how quickly and systematically we can implement such projects,” said René Meyer, head of investment and portfolio management at ENOVA.
The project builds on a previous collaboration between ENOVA and Jade Concept on a separate wind farm project in Lower Saxony.
