JW Steel Construction has been awarded a contract by Dajin Offshore for RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management’s Nordseecluster B offshore wind project.
Dajin said the contract covers construction and low-voltage electrical outfitting of secondary steel structures.
Production has started at JW Steel Construction’s 50,000 square metre facility in Szczecin.
The scope includes more than 2500 tonnes of structures such as 30 main access platforms and 60 boat landing systems.
The project is expected to support around 150 local jobs in the West Pomeranian region.
“The contract with JW Steel Construction is further proof of how well Dajin cooperates with companies in Europe.” said Adam Kowalski, head of supply chain management at Dajin Offshore.
“This is an example of successful cooperation with a private Polish company that provides the capability and reliability needed to make our clients’ business cases fly.”
