Nordex Group has received a 28MW order from Windpark Nuscheler GmbH for the Beesenstedt 3 site in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
The company said it will deliver three N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 metres and one N163/6.X turbine on a 118-metre steel tower.
Nordex added that the order includes a 15-year premium service contract to ensure high technical availability of the machines.
The installation of the turbines is scheduled for spring 2027, with commissioning expected in summer 2027.
According to the Federal Network Agency, 59 wind turbines with a total capacity of 330.8MW were installed in Saxony-Anhalt in 2025.
The agency noted that around 2760 turbines with nearly 5.8GW of capacity are currently in operation in the region.
It added that almost 300 additional turbines representing around 1.9GW are expected to be installed by 2028.
