Aneo has launched a planning process to expand the Stokkfjellet wind farm in Selbu Municipality, Norway.
The company said the proposal includes installing up to nine additional turbines within the existing concession area using available grid capacity at the Nea substation.

Aneo added that the plan will regulate the existing wind farm and facilitate new wind and solar power production across an area of 6.1 square kilometres.
The expansion would reuse existing infrastructure including access roads, power lines and operational buildings.
Stokkfjellet wind farm was completed at the end of 2021 under a licence granted in 2017.
The proposal is being developed with Multiconsult Norge as planning consultant under the Planning and Building Act.
