Siemens Gamesa has secured its second SG 7-170 order in Germany to supply 21MW for the Niederndodeleben wind farm.
The company said it will produce, install and maintain three turbines for the project, which is operated and owned by GETEC green energy GmbH.

It added that the award builds on momentum from its first SG 7.0-170 order in the country.
Siemens Gamesa noted that the order comes as Germany accelerates onshore wind deployment through faster permitting processes and expanded designated wind areas.
