Ampyr Solar Europe has completed the acquisition of the fully consented 530MW East Yorkshire Solar Farm from Boom Power.
Plans for the array near Howden in East Yorkshire were approved by the UK government in May 2025.
It will connect to National Grid’s substation at Drax power station near Selby from 2029.
The deal adds to Ampyr’s 2.5GW project pipeline in the UK and 7GW pipeline across the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
