BayWa re has secured long-term Contracts for Difference for Fleet Solar Farm in Hampshire and High Constellation Wind Farm in Argyll & Bute.
The company said the award of two CfDs strengthens its commitment to delivering projects that support the Government’s Clean Power 2030 mission, the UK’s Net Zero by 2050 target and long-term energy security.
BayWa r.e. added that Fleet Solar Farm is a 47.5MW project north of Long Sutton granted planning permission in 2025.
High Constellation Wind Farm has a planned 50MW capacity, with the 10-turbine project located near Clachan in Argyll & Bute, and construction for both schemes is planned to begin later in 2026.
The company stated that the CfDs will provide stable, long-term revenue backing to support investment in low-carbon electricity generation and contribute to a decarbonised UK power system by 2035.
BayWa r.e. said the awards mark a further milestone as it expands its UK portfolio across solar, wind and battery energy storage.
