Ventus Energy has secured four-year contracts from EDF power solutions UK to provide high-voltage management and support services across five UK sites.
The company said the technical service agreements cover the Blyth and Teesside offshore wind farms, the Sundon and Tye Lane battery energy storage systems, and most recently Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm.
It added that Ventus Energy will deliver HV control, senior authorised persons services, and fault response and repair across all sites, with Blyth, Teesside, Sundon and Tye Lane also receiving inspection and maintenance services.
“From offshore wind farms to large-scale battery storage, our teams are delivering the complex HV services these critical assets demand,” said Alastair Symington, head of operations and maintenance at Ventus Energy.
“This partnership not only strengthens our technical capabilities but also expands our footprint in the UK’s renewable energy sector, positioning Ventus as a go-to partner for high-voltage infrastructure,” Symington added.
The company stated that the frameworks will create job opportunities, support growth initiatives and expand training programmes for workforce development.
