SeaRenergy Offshore Holding has acquired 100% of hemmerschütz Solutions, strengthening its position as an integrated one-stop shop for offshore wind projects.

The company said the deal, effective 28 November 2025, brings highly experienced professionals with strong practical expertise in offshore maintenance and repair.

According to SeaRenergy, the move enables the business to complement its engineering, marine services, QHSE and offshore experts with inhouse execution of repair and maintenance measures.

The acquisition also insources services including corrosion protection, welding, concrete repairs and rotor, tower and foundation work, increasing relevance across all project phases.

SeaRenergy said the expanded portfolio enhances resilience against project cycle fluctuations as demand for repair and maintenance services remains consistently high.

“With the integration of hemmerschütz Solutions, we significantly increase our depth of value creation and further strengthen our role as a long-term partner to our clients.” said Dr. Benjamin Vordemfelde (pictured, centre), chief executive of SeaRenergy.

“Moreover, we are broadening and future-proofing our business while creating new project and development opportunities for SeaRenergy and hemmerschütz Solutions,” Vordemfelde added.

“At the same time, we are increasing SeaRenergy’s attractiveness as an employer in a growing and highly dynamic market,” he stated.

“As part of SeaRenergy, hemmerschütz Solutions gains access to new markets, larger offshore wind projects and long-term customer relationships, while continuing to contribute its core strengths in corrosion protection, welding technology and rotor blade services.” said Mark Thomaschütz (pictured, left), managing director of hemmerschütz Solutions.

“Becoming part of SeaRenergy allows us to further develop our business while building on our hands-on expertise,” Thomaschütz added.

“Our services will remain clearly identifiable, while being embedded in integrated solutions jointly planned and delivered with SeaRenergy,” he stated.

“This provides our team with a strong organizational foundation and the opportunity to work on even more complex offshore wind projects,” he said.

The integration of hemmerschütz Solutions into SeaRenergy will take place in the coming weeks.
