Jumbo Offshore has signed two contracts for the transport and installation of transition pieces for an offshore wind farm development.
The company will use one of its two DP2 heavy-lift vessels for the project campaigns, and the scope also covers full management and operation of the marshalling yard, said Jumbo Offshore.
This includes receiving the transition pieces at the quayside, transferring them to storage, preparing them for installation, and returning them to the quay for loading onto the installation vessel, according to the company.
The project was not disclosed.
Milad Sheikhi, head of sales and business acquisition at Jumbo Offshore, said: “We are proud to sign these contracts.”
Sheikhi added: “Jumbo Offshore has been steadily building its position as a contractor in the foundation installation market.”
He stated: “TP installation lies at the core of our expertise, supported by our in-house project management and engineering capabilities, as well as a fleet of efficient installation vessels.”
