Subsea7 has announced a sizeable contract award to Seaway7 from Ocean Winds for the BC-Wind project in Poland.
The company said the Baltic Sea site lies around 23 kilometres off the Polish coast and will feature 26 wind turbines.

It added that Seaway7 will transport and install 26 transition pieces and an offshore substation, with offshore activity set to begin in 2027.
“We are looking forward to supporting Ocean Winds on the BC-Wind project and being able to continue contributing to the Polish offshore wind targets with our third contract award in this market,” said Seaway7 chief executive Stuart Fitzgerald.
Seaway7’s role on the project was first revealed by subscriber-only reNEWS on 6 November.
