FairWind has appointed Terry Devine and Joe Farnell as regional sales managers to strengthen its UK and Ireland operations amid an ongoing expansion drive.
The new roles form part of a broader growth strategy that includes new facilities, hires, and investments across the region, the company said.
Over the past year, FairWind has expanded its UK workforce by more than 20 people, with further recruitment underway for senior operational and technical positions.
Based near Belfast, Devine brings extensive renewables business development experience, having previously worked at Access Rescue Consulting at Height. Farnell, based in western Scotland, joins from CAN Renewables, where he focused on work-at-height solutions for OEMs and asset owners.
Headquartered in Denmark, FairWind launched its first UK premises in Aberdeen last year and has since established the UK and Ireland as a standalone region within its corporate structure.
UKIE regional director René Damgaard said: “We are thrilled to welcome Terry and Joe to FairWind. Their deep industry knowledge and strong regional networks will be instrumental in driving our growth and strengthening relationships across the UK and Ireland.”
He added that the company’s investment in people and local capability reflects its commitment to long-term presence and delivery in the UK market.
Founded in 2008, FairWind employs more than 1,700 technicians worldwide, providing installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair services for wind turbines in over 40 countries.
