ISE Energía, part of Gransolar Group, has commissioned two photovoltaic plants totalling 10MW for Spanish financial institution Cajamar in Almería.
The projects mark the companies’ second collaboration and form part of Cajamar’s Mardesol initiative, which includes around 20 solar facilities designed to cut CO₂ emissions and support long-term energy transition goals.
Together, the plants will generate more than 17,000MWh of clean electricity each year, reducing the environmental impact of Cajamar’s operations.
ISE Energía director David Fernández said: “ISE Energía is in a moment of expansion and consolidation. These projects with Cajamar are an example of how our vision and capabilities are aligned with the needs of developers and companies looking for sustainable and efficient solutions. In addition, we are very excited about all the projects we have underway, such as the largest self-consumption project in Spain, which will be a benchmark in the energy sector.”
The company, which specialises in self-consumption systems for large energy users, is currently building a 28MW project described as Spain’s largest of its kind.
ISE Energía has delivered more than 100 self-consumption projects with a combined capacity exceeding 150MW, drawing on Gransolar Group’s two decades of experience in photovoltaic energy.
