CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries (CWHI) has shipped a third batch of eight XXL monopiles for the Inch Cape offshore wind farm from its Qinzhou yard aboard COSCO Shipping’s Xiang Yunkou.
Together with two earlier consignments totalling 16 monopiles, including the first already delivered to Forth Ports’ Leith facility and the second due to arrive shortly, CWHI has now dispatched 24 of the 32 foundations it is fabricating for the project.
The company is also producing 30 transition pieces for the UK development, with the final batch now in the last stage of production.
CWHI chief development officer Dale Young said: “With each shipment, we are proud to see the dedication of our teams and the strength of our partnership with Inch Cape Offshore Limited reflected in real progress. These milestones reaffirm CWHI’s commitment to delivering high-quality offshore wind foundations safely and on schedule.”
CWHI said it remains focused on on-time delivery, quality assurance and engineering excellence as it continues to support the Inch Cape project and wider offshore wind industry.
