UKA has secured contracts to deliver 104 onshore wind turbines totalling more than 700MW under Germany’s August auction.
The developer said it was successful with all bids entered in the Federal Network Agency tender, which awarded contracts for 376 projects totalling around 3.4GW.
The new awards will allow UKA to commission the turbines between 2026 and 2028, with the company expecting to install more than 1GW of onshore wind in Germany for the first time in a single year in 2027.
Managing partner Gernot Gauglitz said the result marks a major step in the delivery of UKA’s domestic pipeline, which totals more than 9GW.
UKA develops, builds and operates wind and solar parks alongside battery storage projects across Germany, Europe and the Americas.
