UKA Group commissioned 350MW of onshore wind capacity in Germany in 2025, its highest annual total to date.
The company said the figure reflects 55 turbines across projects in Brandenburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein.
According to UKA, a strong end-of-year push helped set the record, including the commissioning of seven turbines within seven days in October.
Gernot Gauglitz, managing partner and chief executive of UKA Group, said 2025 was the most successful year in the company’s history and that a pipeline of more than 1.5GW is now in the installation phase.
He added that UKA expects a steep climb in commissioning in 2026 and 2027 as it positions itself to secure greater market share.
The company said its medium-term goal is to commission 1GW annually and noted it won contracts for 104 turbines totalling more than 700MW in the August tender.
UKA added that it ordered a further 132 turbines from Nordex last year and has over 1.5GW under construction.
Gauglitz said increasing competition is expected in 2026 but UKA plans targeted project rights purchases and partnerships to accelerate the energy transition.
