The first four jacket foundations for the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm have been shipped from Navantia Seanergies’ Fene yard in Spain.
Each 1200-tonne structure is part of the 62-jacket array being developed by Les Éoliennes en Mer, a consortium comprising Ocean Winds, Sumitomo Corporation and Banque des Territoires.
The jackets were manufactured at Navantia Seanergies’ Fene facility, while the accompanying pin piles were built by Windar Renovables in Avilés.
The Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm will be located 15km off Le Tréport and 17km from Dieppe in the French Channel. Navantia and Windar said the milestone further strengthens their collaboration with Ocean Winds, for whom they have previously delivered floating foundations for WindFloat Atlantic and monopiles for Moray West.
The companies said the project reinforces their ongoing commitment to the energy transition through innovation and industrial capability.
