American Offshore Services has expanded its fleet of offshore wind vessels with the delivery of the M/V Gamekeeper.
The new vessel (pictured) is the fourth addition to the company’s growing G-Class fleet.
The vessel has been delivered from the shipyard and is now operational, ready to support offshore wind projects along the United States’ East Coast.
AOS said the 30-metre, US-built catamaran is powered by four engines and is one of the largest and most capable crew transfer vessels (CTVs) in the country.
The vessel is equipped with parent company Northern Offshore Services’ patented high-grip fender, ensuring safer, more stable transfers in rough conditions.
With capacity for 24 passengers and a focus on comfort and safety, AOS said the Gamekeeper sets a new standard for CTV operations in the US offshore wind sector.
“Progress doesn’t stop and neither do we,” said AOS managing director Michael Burbelo. “We are proud to continue to expand our fleet with high-performing and reliable vessels that are built in America, for America.”
