Polish company P&Q has signed a contract with Ocean Winds Polska to deliver a high-voltage substation and cable connection for the up to 500MW BC-Wind offshore wind farm in Poland.
The deal covers the design, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of a 400/275kV substation and a 400kV cable link, the company said.
The infrastructure will connect BC-Wind to the new PSE SE Choczewo grid substation, providing a key element in the project’s export route.
P&Q said the award strengthens its position in Poland’s offshore wind supply chain and reflects its growing role in the energy transition.
The company added that it is committed to increasing local content in Poland’s offshore wind sector and contributing to the country’s long-term clean energy goals.
P&Q described the contract as a strategic addition to its renewables portfolio.
