The first major components for the 105MW Fasikan wind farm in Sweden have arrived at Sundsvall Harbour.
Construction work at the wind farm project, near Bräcke, has been ongoing since last year.
Arise sold the wind farm to SCA, Europe’s largest private forest owner, but is managing the ongoing construction of the project.
In an update, Arise said the delivery of the first major components (pictured) marked “a key milestone” for the Fasikan wind farm.
It added that civil construction, overhead line installation, and substation work are all progressing smoothly.
Once completed, the SCA-owned wind farm will have an installed capacity of 105MW, generating around 333GWh of renewable energy annually.
This corresponds to an annual consumption of electricity for approximately 15,000 households.
Nordex is supplying 15 turbines for the project, which is expected to be commissioned at the beginning of 2026.
