ProCon has won a contract from Smulders to perform electrical and instrumentation work for Shell and Eneco’s 760MW Hollandse Kust (west) site VI project.
The scope of the work includes E&I pre-assembly, outfitting, testing, and cold commissioning of the 52 suspended internal platforms and the 52 external platforms for the foundations.

The work is to be carried out at Smulders sites in Hoboken and Balen in Belgium and will commence in the first quarter of 2025.
The awarding of the contract underscores the long-standing collaboration good cooperation with Smulders, ProCon said.
The site will be located 53 kilometres off the Dutch coast from IJmuiden, and will supply roughly 3% of the current Dutch electricity demand.
