SBM Offshore has reached an agreement with Cierco Energy to sell all of its shares in floating wind developer Floventis Energy.
SBM Offshore has acquired valuable knowledge through its partnership with Floventis and is proud to have contributed to the advancement of pioneering floating projects, SBM said.

The company said it remains optimistic about the vast potential for sustainable growth of the floating wind sector and is concentrating its efforts on larger scale projects.
Floventis has been behind floating wind demonstrations in the Celtic Sea with the Llyr 1 project, and in the US with the Cademo project near California’s Santa Barbara County.
SBM said it was “proud to have contributed to the advancement of these pioneering projects”.
