The “systemic change” required to revitalise the UK offshore wind industry is not taking place, FOW 2024 has heard.
RWE UK and Ireland offshore development director Danielle Lane told delegates in Aberdeen on Day 1 that key challenges on grid and consenting remain.
Lane said there are reports, roadmaps and ambitions that highlight these issues but little tangible progress.
