Mingyang Smart Energy has installed its 20MW offshore wind turbine in China.
The MySE18.X-20MW turbine has been installed onshore by the coast.

It has a rotor diameter of 260-292 metres.
According to Mingyang, at an average wind speed of 8.5 metres per second the turbine can generate 80m kWh annually.
In December 2023 Mingyang announced it had begun rolling out the MySE18.X-20MW turbine at its Shanwei manufacturing base.
Mingyang said the MySE 18.X-20MW marks its commitment to “advancing technology for deeper waters and delivering innovative, more powerful solutions”.
