Enery has signed a 10-year virtual cross-border PPA with Hungarian brewery group Dreher Sörgyárak, part of Asahi Europe & International.
Commencing January 2025, the company will provide certified renewable electricity to Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt, based on the contracted annual volume of approximately 14GWh.
This agreement represents the second virtual PPA between Enery and the subsidiaries of Asahi Europe & International.
This supports the development of renewables asset in Central and Eastern Europe.
Asahi Europe & International chief executive Paolo Lanzarotti said: “This latest agreement for Hungary marks another important step forward and a significant commitment towards our Legacy 2030 goal of becoming carbon neutral in all our breweries by 2030.
