GRS’s operation and maintenance division has renewed its contracts with Balam Fund for the Camargo, Energia Limpia de La Laguna and Salsipuedes solar farms in Mexico.
The agreement extends the operation and maintenance tasks until December 2025, two more years in which GRS’s work will continue to be essential to maximise the performance of the three plants and guarantee their correct operation during their useful life.
The company, a division of Gransolar Group, will maintain its activity in the three large installations built by its teams, which total around 110MW, for a further two years.
With the renewal of these contracts, GRS O&M now manages more than 1620MW of PV plants worldwide, including 110MW in Latin America.
The Camargo PV plant (35MW) was the first of five projects that GRS has built in Mexico. Then followed, among others, Energia Limpia de La Laguna (35.48MW) and Salsipuedes (40MW), all of which were developed for Balam Fund.
Jesus Aguilar, director of GRS O&M, said: “We are living a key stage in O&M, favoured by the exponential growth of plants built around the world, together with the renovations of plants already in operation since the beginning, and that leads us to continue putting all our efforts in offering added value and guarantees of success to our customers.”
