Renewables consultancy Blix has been acquired by Afry to strengthen its offering in the global offshore and onshore wind energy market
With 19,000 experts in the fields of infrastructure, industry, energy and digitalisation, Afry operates in around 50 countries worldwide with the aim of contributing to addressing the most urgent global and climate challenges.
With the acquisition of Blix, Afry enhances its competence and consulting service offerings in the offshore and onshore wind sector, it said.
The merger companies will be able to cover the entire project life-cycle from the early strategy phase to the execution and operation of the wind farm.
Directors and founders of Blix Consultancy Albert van der Hem & Maarten Timmerman said: “Becoming part of Afry gives us the leverage to stay at the forefront of the energy transition in the fast-growing global renewable energy market.

Blix will be consolidated into Afry as of March 2023.
